The Message Lab Welcomes New Staff

The Message Laboratory is pleased to welcome new research assistants Ciarra Smith and Mariah Warner.  Both are recipients of the prestigious Provost Scholarship at Mississippi State University.  Ciarra is majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Philosophy, and she aims to earn a master’s degree in Bioethics and a doctorate in Neurobiology.  Mariah is majoring in Criminology with minors in Political Science and Business Administration. She plans to pursue graduate study and a career in federal law enforcement.  During their time with the Message Lab, Ciarra and Mariah will be contributing to projects related to science and health communication and developing independent research projects under the guidance of Dr. Holli Seitz.
