Seitz and Collaborators Publish in MDM Policy & Practice

Together with research collaborators at the University of Pennsylvania, Message Lab director Holli Seitz has published an article in MDM Policy & Practice. The article, “The impact of a risk-based breast cancer screening decision aid on initiation of mammography among younger women: Report of a randomized trial,” presents results from a randomized clinical trial of a breast cancer screening patient decision aid. The decision aid, which included individual breast cancer risk estimates, improved knowledge but did not affect risk-based decision making regarding initiation of mammography.
